Mariusz Piątkowski graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University in Gdańsk, Poland. He completed his specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2000. He pursued a full-time PhD programme at the Medical University in Gdańsk, Poland, in the Department of Gynaecological Endocrinology. He earned his MD/PhD in 2007. His PhD thesis entitled “Analysis of Occurrence of P53 Gene Mutations in Cervical Cancer” revolved around his work in the area of oncological gynaecology.
Until November 2015, he was an assistant professor and a lecturer at the Chair and Clinic of Gynaecology, Oncological Gynaecology and Gynaecological Endocrinology of the Medical University in Gdańsk, Poland.
Mariusz Piątkowski has an extensive experience in treating infertility, gained during many years of work in IVF treatment clinics. His medical practice in the area of treating infertility using assisted reproductive techniques (IVF) has been accredited by the Polish Ministry of Health.
